I was told that if I purchased through Trophy Properties for some new construction, I would not only be well represented in the transaction by their expertise but would earn a portion of my purchase price back at closing as a gift. Seemed to good to be true but I was referred to them by a mutual friend so I decided to contact them and it worked out great. I learned that with new construction purchases, it is not in my best interest deal direct with the developer; my purchase price was the same even with a realtor looking out for my best interests. Debbie previously worked with a new home builder and helped me to navigate the developer’s sales process as well as negotiate some things in the contract which made it more comfortable for us to proceed. The fact that I also had a contribution from Trophy on the sales price at closing as promised was icing on the cake.
